APBA GO Baseball Home Run Derby

The fun way to try APBA GO Baseball

Welcome to APBA GO Baseball Home Run Derby, the fun way to get to know APBA GO Baseball!

The original APBA Home Run Derby was played using dice and player cards, and originated in the 1950s. Today, the board game is played every year at the APBA convention, giving all attendees the chance to experience the APBA baseball system.

The APBA GO Home Run Derby takes the action to your favorite iOS device, where you can roll the dice and take your favorite player to victory!

How it Works

The APBA GO Baseball version of the Home Run Derby pits two heavy hitters against each other over nine innings. In this version, you can play as Mike Trout or Ted Williams.

The objective is to hit as many home runs as possible.

Dice are rolled and a player card is consulted to determine the result of each pitch. Each player has a different card and different roll results.

A results table is consulted for the outcome. A pitch can lead to a home run, another pitch, or an out. When three outs are reached, the player’s turn is over.

If you visit the APBA headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, you can unlock a third mystery player!
